Despite a quarter of a century that passed since the enactment of the Act CLIV 1997, there is still a lot of uncertainty and with it, infringement of patient rights. This is particularly true if we are concerned about the patient's right to be informed, which is typically and closely coupled with other patient rights such as the right to self-determination, to refuse treatment and to leave the healthcare facility.
