Lipofibromatous hamartoma (LFH) is a rare, benign, slow-growing lipofibromatous tumor characterized by the proliferation of mature adipocytes within the epineurium and perineurium of peripheral nerves. The median nerve is the most commonly affected nerve in the upper extremity. Median nerve involvement often leads to pain, numbness, paraesthesia, and carpal tunnel syndrome. We present a case of LFH of the median nerve in a 15-year-old child, followed by a discussion of the epidemiology, clinical presentation, imaging features, and treatment options for this rare entity.  Kulcsszavak: lipofibromatous hamartoma, median nerve, ultrasound, MRI
