lnlroduction: Eating disorders in early childhood are a current problem. ln many cases, he investigation does not confirm an abnormality in the background of the symptom or does not explain its occurrence. Early childhood feeding disorders are usually multifactorial in origin. An early childhood mental and psychological health perspective can help to understand feeding/eating dilficulties and identify intervention options. Melhods: The Early Childhood Eating and Sleeping Disorders 0utpatient Clinic has been operating at the Heim Pdl National Pediatric lnstitute since January 2017 We provide care for approximately 350 families per year. We provide complex specialized care based on interdisciplinaryteamwork (child psychologist, special needs educatol dietician, physiotherapist, other specialists). Results: We present data from 608 patients. Eating difficulties are the main symptom in about 80% of cases, sleeping problems in about 35% (eating and sleeping problems together in about 15-20%), and other behavioral problems in about 5%. Conclusion: A multidisciplinary approach to care requires the involvement of allied health professionals.
