In reproductive medicine and -psychology male infertility is an under-reported issue compared to female reproductive disorders. Based on written sources from certain historical eras, it seems this has been the "status quo" since ancient times. The underlying reasons behind this phenomenon were the technological limitations in diagnostics and the stigmatization attached to the disease.
