Energy drink consumption has increased significantly worldwide. In our study, we conducted an online questionnaire survey among 14-25 year olds. We examined their consumption habits, knowledge of energy drinks, purchasing factors and participation rates ín related health promotion lectures. Our results revealed several issues associated with consuming these highly caffeinated beverages. Notably, half of the respondents had experienced at least one side effect of excessive caffeine intake, and the number of regular energy drink consumers, as well as those who consume energy drinks with alcohol, has increased compared to previous data. Additionally, we observed that those who had previously attended an educational lecture about energy drinks were more informed and consumed less of them.  Kulcsszavak: energy drink, energy drink consumption habits, 14-25 year olds
