Feeding, sleeping problems and excessive crying are common causes of parental concern and medical visits in newborns and infants. A unique program has been in operation at the North-Buda St. John's Hospital in Budapest since 2005, providing modern integrated care for mothers, fathers, and their children affected with mental disorders that require hospitaltreatment, as well as their family members, in accordance with internationally accepted guidelines, with the involvement of an interdisciplinary professional team. ln the past yeal they have provided care for over 300 families within the program. The goal of the "Baby-Mother-Father Program" is the early recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders that develop during pregnancy and after childbirth. At Bethesda Children's Hospital, They have been focusing on infants and young children with feeding and other psychosomatic difficulties for more than 12 years. The staff of the Early Childhood Psychosomatic Department, which was establishedin202l, provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for complex disorders in an interdisciplinary approach. There are 3 programs at Bethesda Children Hospital, Breastfeeding Clinic. Regulation Disorder Clinic, Bethesda - KIDS Feeding - Focused Diagnostic and lntervention Programme and a separate rehabilitation center.
