Authors present a typical case of the benign choroidal osteoma. The alteration caused visual impairement with relative central scotoma. The flat, relatively well circumscribed elevation on the posterior pole showed hyperfluorescence with angiography. Because of its acustic properties the tumor was well detectable even with nonophthalmic ultrasonic equipments. The CT referred also to a calcified plaque of the posterior pole. In contrast the MRI did not show any pathological changes.
